The FRA is an organization mandated with the responsibility of maintaining strategic national food reserves. In order to enhance its capacity to effectively manage this function, the Agency invites applications to fill vacant positions as follows;


Job Purpose

Reporting to the Food Reserve and Marketing Coordinator, the job holder will be required to implement the strategic food reserve and marketing systems and assist in the collection of data on food stocks at Provincial level.

Job Complexity

The job requires analysis of complex situations or information before making appropriate decisions and a good understanding of grains and factors that influence crop marketing for strategic management of the food reserve marketing.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

· Degree in Agriculture, Economics, or Marketing

· A minimum of 5 years experience in a busy and demanding environment

· Computer literacy and a valid driving license


Job Purpose

Reporting to the Legal Counsel, the job holder will manage and be accountable for the provision of security policies, codes of practice, strategy and operational activity for the Agency and provide professional advise to ensure that strategies adopted meet all external and internal delivery requirement-using available resources to the maximum and providing value for money.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences

· Professional training in Security matters will be required as an added advantage

· A minimum of 4 years experience operating at senior level either in private or public sector with a demonstrable track record of managing risk and operational security services

· Excellent written, oral communication skills and a high sense of integrity

· A valid driving License


Job Purpose

Reporting to the Human Resource Coordinator, the job holder will provide support in the various human resource functions, which include facilitating recruitments and induction, employee relations, leave management, performance management, training and development, advise on and implement policies relating to the effective use of human resource within the Agency.

Job Complexity

Good organisation skill and ability to understand into good interpersonal skills to form effective working relations. Ability to analyze, and interpret legal frame work regulating employment. Ability to compile and interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner. Influencing and negotiating skills to implement HR policies.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

· BA/Bcom Degree in HRM, PA or its equivalent

· Four years relevant work experience

· Strong computer literacy

· Working experience in HRIS
